GESTION DE L\u2019EAU ET DES RESSOURCES NATURELLES EN AFRIQUE CENTRALE (GERNAC)<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Avec ses ressources en eau et ses richesses naturelles, l\u2019Afrique centrale est une re\u0301gion ou\u0300 la gestion de ces ressources est inade\u0301quate, ce qui entrai\u0302ne une de\u0301gradation de l\u2019environnement et des proble\u0300mes socio-e\u0301conomiques. La mission du projet GERNAC est de relever ces de\u0301fis en ame\u0301liorant la surveillance et la gestion de l\u2019eau et des ressources naturelles dans la re\u0301gion. Gra\u0302ce au renforcement des capacite\u0301s, a\u0300 la sensibilisation et a\u0300 la formation, le projet envisage de donner aux parties prenantes les moyens de ge\u0301rer ces ressources de manie\u0300re durable, contribuant ainsi au de\u0301veloppement socio-e\u0301conomique de l\u2019Afrique centrale.<\/p>

Orientation :<\/strong> L\u2019objectif ge\u0301ne\u0301ral est de surveiller les principaux impacts lie\u0301s aux variations des zones inonde\u0301es dans la Cuvette centrale sur le ruissellement, le changement climatique et la biodiversite\u0301. Les trois champs d\u2019application principaux sont les suivants:<\/p>

  1. Surveillance des ressources en eau, notamment de l\u2019e\u0301volution des niveaux d\u2019eau pour la navigation fluviale ;<\/li>
  2. Suivi du bilan hydrologique des sous-bassins de la re\u0301gion d\u2019Afrique centrale ;<\/li>
  3. Contro\u0302le de la dynamique des zones inonde\u0301es sous les fore\u0302ts de la Cuvette centrale.<\/li><\/ol>

    Central Africa is a region with abundant water and natural resources. However, managing these resources has been inadequate, resulting in environmental degradation and socio-economic challenges. The GERNAC project aims to address these challenges by improving the region\u2019s monitoring and management of water and natural resources. Through capacity building, awareness raising, and training, the project seeks to empower stakeholders to manage these resources sustainably, ultimately contributing to the socio-economic development of Central Africa.<\/p>
